Hungarian Goulash Slow Cooker Recipe

Because of so many Hungarian Goulash recipes available, how can you tell what’s authentic? Dumplings or otherwise, stew or thicker, noodles or plain.

My hubby spent annually abroad studying in Bonn, Germany and traveling throughout Europe, then when he requested me to produce a geniune Hungarian Goulash recipe I had been just a little timid. With some research and my slow cooker, I created this recipe and held my breath as they required his first bite.

He loved it! He claims it’s as near to “true” Hungarian Goulash as he’s ever sampled in the usa. We offered it over noodles, however typically it’s thicker than the usual stew and it is eaten alone no dumplings, no noodles. Ironically enough, a couple of several weeks later a buddy of ours built the same recipe for his or her father who had been also picky about his goulash getting stayed in Budapest. More compliments ruled within this truly would be a close-to-authentic recipe. Beyond that, it’s very simple and easy , very tasty – enjoy!
